This Web site features my 1998 Camaro Z28. This car is one of the most popular muscle cars in NorthAmerica. Here You will find a brief description of It and its modifications, some pictures also.

This is the result of some spent money and a very hard job done every weekend by myself.

I really want to say thanks to all those guys from the LSI.com and CamaroZ28.com. These fellows gave me the guides to mod this car.

Z28 Stock

The Stock car ( as it is delivered from the factory) is powered with the LS1 engine. This is a V8 small block that gives a Power of 295 rwhp (real power transmited to the rear wheels) and Torq of 305 lbft. The is the same Chevy Corvette engine but with some restrictions in the air intake and the exhaust, most of the mods are related with these two issues.

The car is equipped with a transmission A4 (Automomatic Four), Metallic Navy Blue Exterior, Tip Tops, White Leather seats, Kenwood stereo and CD.

In the next part You will see some other mods that includes exhaust, air intake, performance, suspension and appearance.

Performance is a very special issue, the thing is to get better performance numbers but keeping the car Street Legal. Some places like Mexico City requires emission control tag to run in the streets, so we need to keep the Cats and the computer numbers according to the federal regulations.

Z28 Modified

As we mentioned before, this car has several kind of mods, lets start with them:

*Front grill painted and modified with Chevy Bow Tie logo.
*Covered with a lots of Zaino Z1, Z2, Z5 etc..

*LG G2 welded Subframe connectors ( From LG Motorsports)
*LG G2 Adjustable Pan Hard Bar

PERFORMANCE
*Whisper MAF

*Equipped with the 9# Vortech Supercharged and the Intercooler. Kit Includes radiator, new fuel injectors, additional fuel pump, and a big blower. Installed by the mech team at LG Motorsporst, Dallas TX, USA

The 9psi Vortech Supercharger with intercooler

This super mod is able to add up to 50% more power without touching the engine core. The only thing it most do is to blow the incoming air into the engine air intake at the pressure of 9 psi. Other changes goes together with it: fuel pump, fuel injectors, and air coolers, basically.

The car remains street legal.

After this, the performance numbers are as follow.

Max Power: 420.7 rear wheel HP
Max Torque: 374.3 lbft
